Rumours: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown probably sold 1.3 million copies

Ubisoft does not officially publish data on sales of Prince pf Persia: The Lost Crown and, as a result, it leads to speculation. However, a recent post on LinkedIn by former Ubisoft Deputy Chief Marketing Officer Alexandre Guenounou suggests that the game sold more than 1.3 million copies in its first year.

Here's What We Know
This figure, spotted by X user Timur222, matches previous rumours from October 2024, according to which sales had reached 1 million at the time. Earlier reports in January 2024 suggested that only around 300,000 copies of the game had been sold at launch. While 1.3 million copies is a decent figure, there were claims that Ubisoft had higher expectations for the game, leading to the cancellation of any planned sequels and the disbandment of the development team.
Later, Ubisoft confirmed that the developers of The Lost Crown had moved on to other projects. The game completed its post-launch roadmap with free updates and DLC, but no further content is expected.
