Apple has long been working on Smart Home devices that make people's lives easier. It is likely that soon the company will release another interesting novelty, which not only has an important practical application, but will also significantly revitalise the interior.

Here's What We Know

Portal MacRumors paid attention to the January article Apple, in which the company talks about the prototype of a robot lamp with AI.

This development differs in that the device not only performs the function of the lamp, but also monitors the actions, gestures and voice commands of the user and directs the beam of light where it is needed or where the person asks.

The smart lamp, which looks like a Pixar studio mascot, is characterised by "live" movements, it quickly responds to commands, shows with gestures that it understands the request (it can nod or make a negative movement of the "head") and even knows how to maintain a conversation. Amusingly, the lamp can even dance.

The principles behind the development of the lamp are aimed at adding verbalisation, sociability and generally making home devices more human.

It is not yet known whether Apple plans to commercially produce smart lamps, but it seems that many people wouldn't mind getting such a companion.
