Full freedom of action: in The Blood of Dawnwalker, you will be able to kill important NPC characters
Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, in an interview with GamesRadar, said that players in The Blood of Dawnwalker will be able to kill even important NPCs for the plot - the game will be a sandbox, which should give players a lot of freedom.
Here's What We Know
However, Tomaszkiewicz noted that the studio still made considerable efforts to create interesting fleshed-out characters:
"It’s a sandbox, meaning we’re trying to maximize your options of your choice in the game. But it isn’t purely focused on gameplay. We were trying to play to our strengths, because our past projects were very focused on narrative, on good storytelling, interesting characters and a lot of lore to find"
Tomaszkiewicz also noted that killing an NPC will not stop the game, but will open up alternative quest lines, or even block some. He warned that the main protagonist, Coen, has a bloodlust at night, which can lead to the death of random NPCs if players are not careful.
Where To Play
The Blood of Dawnwalker is being developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
When We Can Expect It
