Battlefield 2042 will host War Machine event: developers will add three time modes to the shooter

Despite the fact that EA and DICE announced the end of support for the Battlefield 2042 online shooter, the developers have announced a new event, which will begin next week.

Here's What We Know

The in-game event is called War Machine and will temporarily add three modes to the game:

• "Domination " - players fight for strategically important points;
• "Breakthrough " - the opponents of a team of four players will be robots;
• "King of the Mountain" (from 1 April) - players capture key positions and try to hold them.

For participating in War Machine activities, gamers will receive special cosmetic items, and can also count on a new Battle Pass for 30 levels, the content of which can be unlocked for free or obtained instantly by paying money.

Battlefield 2042's War Machine event kicks off on 18 March and runs until 15 April on all platforms.
