Philips Hue has introduced a new USB-C cable for its Secure security cameras. This is an optional accessory for charging or powering Philips Hue Secure cameras, such as the Hue Secure Wired Camera.

Here's What We Know

The new product was announced back in January, but has only recently hit the market.

The cable is 3 metres (9.8 feet) long and is suitable for replacing existing cables with their own connectors. The cable connects to the cameras at one end and to a standard USB-C port at the other. It can transmit power up to 24W, which ensures stable operation of the devices.

The cable makes it convenient to install security cameras in different places in the house, as the standard length is sufficient for most situations. However, it should be noted that the cable is suitable for indoor use only and does not include a power adapter.

The cable is available in two colours - black and white. Currently, there is only one 3 metre version available, but it is not yet known whether other versions will be available in the future.

The cable is available from the Philips Hue online store for $19.99 USD, £16.99 or €19.99. The product comes with a two-year warranty.

The cable is available now in the US, UK, and the Netherlands.

Philips Hue recently officially launched the new Datura Ceiling Lights in the US, following their European debut in 2024. They also added a new QR code feature in the latest app update for iOS and Android.
