Last week, Samsung surprised its users by changing the release dates of the One UI 7 update. Initially, the company announced that the update for Android 15 devices would be available from 7 April. However, a few days later, the date for the US was postponed to 10 April.

Here's What We Know

By the end of the week, Samsung removed its announcement from the news section of the website.

Later, it became known that Samsung restored the previous announcement and confirmed that the date of April 10 was relevant for the start of the update rollout in the United States. The statement remained unchanged, and the company did not make any adjustments to the content. So, One UI 7 will start updating devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Fold6, and Galaxy Flip6, starting on 10 April.

However, these are only the latest devices that will receive the update. Samsung plans to roll out One UI 7 to other supported models as well, but the specific timeline for the rest of the devices has not yet been specified.

The system was already available as a beta version for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 line, so users have already had the opportunity to get acquainted with its new features.

Samsung notes that the One UI 7.0 interface was created from scratch to interact with artificial intelligence. The company claims that the new interface has a "simple, efficient, and emotional design".

One UI 7 includes new and improved Galaxy AI features, including AI Select, Audio Eraser, Drawing Assist, Writing Assist, and an improved search engine in the Settings app.
