MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9400+ chipset outperformed the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite in AI-Benchmark tests
MediaTek is preparing to release a new Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which will appear on the market in early April. This processor has already demonstrated its capabilities by taking leading positions in the ETH Zurich AI Benchmark rating.
Here's What We Know
OPPO Find X8s and Find X8s+ smartphones with this chipset topped the table, beating devices based on Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Find X8s scored 12,975 points, while the nearest Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered competitor, the OnePlus 13, scored 12,376 points.

According to the tests, the Dimensity 9400+ features improved processor performance thanks to overclocked cores, and also significantly outperforms the competition in tasks related to artificial intelligence. However, despite these gains, the Snapdragon 8 Elite still maintains an advantage in some aspects in Geekbench benchmarks.
