Oppo is preparing to launch a new series of Reno 14 smartphones in China. New details about the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro models have emerged thanks to leaks from a well-known insider at Digital Chat Station.

Here's What We Know

According to this information, the new products will have batteries with a capacity of more than 6000 mAh, as well as OLED displays and a high level of protection.

The base model Reno 14 will have a 6.59-inch LTPS OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K, while the more powerful Reno 14 Pro will be equipped with a larger 6.83-inch screen with the same resolution.

The displays of both models will have round corners and narrow bezels.

Special attention is paid to cameras: both smartphones will be equipped with updated modules that will provide users with an iPhone-like experience.

Reno 14 Pro may get a periscope camera to improve long-distance shooting. In addition, the smartphones will receive support for a high level of protection against water and dust thanks to IP68 and IP69 certification.

The main change is the new camera design. Instead of the classic metal rings, as in Reno 13 Pro, the new smartphone has a more elegant vertical camera arrangement. The main camera and ultra-wide-angle lens are located in one module, and the periscopic telephoto lens is on top, next to the minimalist LED flash.

According to the leaks, the Reno 14 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset with a 120Hz display, a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, and support for 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
