New details about the premium Casio G-Shock MR-G BF1000RG-3AJR watch have appeared on the web. According to unofficial information from Japanese sources, the model may be presented in May, and Japan will be the first to receive it.

Here's What We Know

The watch is made in a military style: a massive silver titanium case is combined with an olive strap and beige accents. Like the previous models in the Frogman series, the BF1000RG-3AJR will feature top diving features, including high water resistance and shock resistance. Instead of DLC coating, the case is likely to be treated with titanium carbide.

The first images of the model appeared back in February, when the watch was leaked. Now, references to a specific model number - MRG-BF1000RG-3AJR - have appeared in internal updates for distributors. However, there is no official confirmation from Casio yet.

According to sources, the cost of the novelty will be about 600,000 yen (approximately $4,000). Nothing is known about the international availability yet, but the release in other countries may traditionally take place with a slight delay.

We expect an official announcement in the near future.

Recently, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first electronic desktop calculator, Casio introduced the MS-20UC-J series, a striking combination of Japanese patterns and modern design. The new products are part of the brand's global environmental commitment, reflected in its Environmental Vision 2050 strategy.
