Casio creates stylish MS-20UC-J eco-calculators with Japanese patterns to celebrate 60th anniversary

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first electronic desktop calculator, Casio has introduced the MS-20UC-J series, a vibrant blend of Japanese patterns and modern design.
Here's What We Know
The new products are part of the brand's global environmental policy, reflected in the Environmental Vision 2050 strategy.

The series includes three models, each of which reflects the symbolism of traditional Japanese culture. The red Asanoha is decorated with a pattern of cannabis leaves, a symbol of strength and growth. The blue Seigaiha demonstrates waves, which are associated with calmness and stability. And the white Takekago is stylised as a bamboo weave, symbolising flexibility, endurance and balance. At the same time, all models retain the familiar and convenient MS-20UC layout, popular with students, office workers and teachers
The calculators are made from recycled plastic and the packaging is made from paper materials, which has reduced the use of plastic by approximately 81%. This is another step towards achieving Casio's goals of reducing emissions, reusing resources and respecting the environment.
Casio also reminds that all its environmental initiatives are coordinated in accordance with the international standard ISO 14001. The company is actively implementing green goals, including through the Green Targets 2024 programme.
Despite the global launch, the company confirmed that the MS-20UC-J series will not be available in some countries, including Ukraine, Spain, Poland, and Cyprus.
