Prices from 600 euros: car brand Alpine enters the electric scooter market
The Renault Group's Alpine brand is launching a range of electric scooters in partnership with French manufacturer Cibox. The agreement will run for three years. The products will be distributed through the Yeep.me online platform and Alpine Stores.
Here's What We Know
The firstborn in the range will be the Alpine 100A GT powered by Yeep.me electric scooter priced at €599. The model will officially premiere in the summer of 2025. It will be covered by a five-year warranty.
The Alpine 100A GT powered by Yeep.me is inspired by the Alpine A290 electric hatchback, recognised as Europe's Car Of The Year 2025. The scooter inherits distinctive design elements from the car, including an X-styled LED headlight.
Alpine 100A GT features:
- Peak motor power - 1,200 watts
- Range of approximately 50 kilometres
- Rigid chassis with telescopic fork and tubular steel frame.
- IPX6 water protection
- Two disc brakes
- LED turn indicators
- App connectivity: remote control, anti-theft protection, software updates
Later the line will be supplemented by "sport" scooters. They will also be stylistically linked to Alpine vehicles, in particular the A390 electric crossover.
