Almost seven years have passed since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, a game that captured the hearts of millions of players around the world. This multi-award-winning masterpiece has become one of Rockstar Games' greatest creations - but it seemed that the company had almost abandoned it to develop Grand Theft Auto VI. Today, Red Dead Redemption 2 remains in almost the same state as at the time of its release. Fans are constantly asking for an update for this generation of consoles that would raise the game's specifications and add the coveted 60 frames per second, but it seems that their prayers remain unanswered. Even Roger Clark, the actor who lent his voice to Arthur Morgan, understands this need.

Here's What We Know

Some time ago, players launched the "Save Red Dead Online" campaign, which was in a significant decline. Rockstar did not release significant updates for a long time, and it seemed that the developer had forgotten about the multiplayer part of the game. At the same time, GTA Online received update after update, and Grand Theft Auto V had more improved versions than any other Rockstar game. Paradoxically, Red Dead Redemption (2010) was re-released for modern platforms, and Rockstar Games even released an update to 60 FPS for this old game.

Roger Clarke, the iconic actor behind the image of Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2, fully supports the demand for RDR 2 to be updated to 60 FPS. He wrote on social media:

"Guys, it has come to my attention that there is still no 60 FPS patch for RDR2. Some of you were kind enough to remind me to do something about it. I am so sorry for the delay! I'm already working on it. It will be ready tomorrow afternoon."

In a strange coincidence, Ned Luke (the voice of GTA 5's Michael De Santa) appeared in the comments and joked that the 60 FPS update for RDR2 will be released when GTA 6 is released "at midnight tonight". Real jokers, nothing to say. However, behind these jokes lies a serious hope of fans that Rockstar will pay attention to their requests and give Red Dead Redemption 2 a second life on modern platforms.
