Samsung may launch One UI 8 beta programme next month
Samsung is actively working on a new version of One UI, and preliminary tests are already underway on smartphones such as Galaxy Flip 6. According to information, the beta version of One UI 8 may be available as early as June this year.
Here's What We Know
According to @tarunvats33 on the X platform, the beta programme may start in June. This will not come as a surprise, as Samsung often launches beta testing several months before the official release. Thus, the beta version will allow the company to fix bugs and make adjustments before the general release.
Although Samsung has not yet confirmed the launch date of One UI 8, it is expected that official information will appear a few days before the programme starts. As in previous years, the beta version will be available to a limited number of users.

Hearing from sources that Samsung might launch the One UI 8 Beta as early as June!
But as always - take it with a grain of salt. Samsung's update timelines can shift anytime! pic.twitter.com/s0URGAJMwv
The main innovation in One UI 8 will be the support for Android 16, although we should not expect major changes in the interface. According to the test results, One UI 8 looks like an improved version of One UI 7.1 with minor additions and improvements.
Samsung is expected to launch the One UI 8 update earlier than usual to restore the update schedule, as the release of One UI 7 was delayed. Therefore, the beta version will be an important step before the official launch, which may take place in July or August this year.
According to insiders, the company plans to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in early July 2025. According to The JoongAng, the event will take place in New York, USA, in early July. Last year, the Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 were unveiled on 10 July, so this year's date could be even earlier.
