Galaxy Watch8 Classic will be available along with new Samsung foldable smartphones

This year, Samsung is bringing back the popular Galaxy Watch Classic model with a rotating bezel. After the company introduced the Galaxy Watch7 along with the Galaxy Watch Ultra in 2024, the absence of the Classic version caused a lot of complaints among fans of this series.

According to new reports, Samsung will release the Galaxy Watch8 Classic alongside the Galaxy Watch8 in the summer of 2025.
Information about the Galaxy Watch8 Classic appeared after its certification by the Bluetooth SIG, where its name and model number SM-L505U were confirmed. The official announcement of the gadgets is expected along with the new foldable Galaxy Fold7 and Flip7 smartphones in early July 2025.

According to the reports, the model numbers SM-L320, SM-L325U, SM-L330 and SM-L335U belong to the Galaxy Watch 8. SafetyKorea certification of the Watch 8 battery showed that its capacity could be 435 mAh. On the other hand, the SM-L505 and SM-L500 models are said to be variants of the Watch 8 Classic.Although its battery was also revealed in the SafetyKorea database, the certification does not specify its size.
In addition, information about the Galaxy Watch8 indicates a slightly larger battery compared to the previous model, and this change is likely to affect the Classic version as well.
According to insiders, the company plans to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in early July 2025. According to The JoongAng, the event will take place in New York, USA, in early July. Last year, the Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 were unveiled on 10 July, so this year's date may be even earlier.
