Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone that will run on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. This processor has already been used in the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro model, but now the chipset will be included in the main line of Xiaomi smartphones.

Insider @yabhishekhd revealed the characteristics of the upcoming smartphone.
The updated device will be called Civi 5 Pro and will be the successor to Civi 4 Pro, which was introduced in March last year. According to the Geekbench database, Civi 5 Pro has already been tested, which revealed that it is powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

The prototype smartphone that was tested was equipped with 16 GB of RAM, but there is a possibility that the base version of the model will have less memory. The smartphone will also run on Android 15 with Xiaomi's proprietary HyperOS shell.
Currently, there are no other details about the device's specifications, and the exact release schedule is unknown. However, as in previous years, the Civi model is likely to be exclusive to China. Perhaps Xiaomi will also introduce this model in India, as it did with the Civi 14, which was launched in June last year. We are waiting for more information about the release.
