The secrets of the plague are revealed: Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is announced - dive into the past of the series in 2026
The Plague Tale series has become a real triumph for developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Entertainment, so there was little doubt that we would see more stories from this universe. And now the new part of Plague Tale has been officially announced.
Here's What We Know
At the recent Xbox Games Showcase presentation, Focus and Asobo presented Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. The game is set fifteen years before the events of the main series, and it will change the focus to a new heroine - a young woman named Sophia, whom we met in Requiem. She is "looking for her independence" as a burglar and has to face various threats on her way.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is due out sometime in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will also be available via Game Pass on the day of release, which is great news for Game Pass subscribers.
The new instalment of the series will certainly generate a lot of interest, as it will offer an interesting look at the events before we meet Amycia and Hugo.
