During the WWDC 2025 keynote, Apple announced that new personalised Siri features will not appear in the near future. Their launch is scheduled for the next year, so they will not appear in the first beta versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26.

Here's What We Know

Siri 's personalised features were first announced at WWDC 2024. At that time, Apple showed that the voice assistant would be able to better understand the user's personal context, take into account information on the screen, and provide deeper settings for individual applications. For example, Siri could answer questions about the user's mother's flight or lunch plans based on data from the Mail and Messages apps.

Initially, the innovations were supposed to appear in the iOS 18.4 update, but Apple postponed the launch of the features. The company also notes that for the personalised Siri to work properly, an iPhone with Apple Intelligence support is required.

Users will have to wait a bit before Siri can better adapt to their needs and become a more intelligent assistant.

At the WWDC 2025 conference, Apple announced a complete design update of all its platforms - iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, and CarPlay. The new style is called Liquid Glass and became the first unified design for the entire Apple ecosystem.

According to Craig Federighi, head of software engineering, the new approach was made possible by the increased power of Apple Silicon chips.
