The legendary Prince of Persia is getting better: The Rogue Prince of Persia comes out of early access in August and prepares for console debut
In case you forgot, Evil Empire developers have been actively working on a brand new chapter in the legendary Prince of Persia series. And now this interesting game, called The Rogue Prince of Persia, is getting ready for its full release.
Here's What We Know
As its name suggests, The Rogue Prince of Persia is a roguelike action platformer that combines the series' signature style with elements of unpredictability and high replayability. The game has been in early access exclusively on PC for over a year now, but this will soon come to an end as version 1.0 will be released in August this year.
This is especially important for console players, as it usually means that porting to consoles will happen around the same time. In an update on the game's Steam page, Evil Empire says that "information on the actual release date and other things like consoles will be coming soon". This indicates that the team is actively preparing for a large-scale launch.
No console platforms have been confirmed yet, but hopefully, the game will appear on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
