iPhone 17 displays look to get thinner and get new Dynamic Island
According to the popular insider Digital Chat Station, all iPhone 17 models that will be released later this year will receive two screen updates at once.
Here's What We Know
First, all iPhone 17 devices will have thinner bezels around the display. As a reminder, the current iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models already have the thinnest bezels among all Apple products, but now this innovation will extend to the basic iPhone 17 and the new iPhone 17 Air.
Secondly, the updated Dynamic Island interface is expected to appear in all iPhone 17 models. Details have not yet been disclosed - it is possible that the update concerns the software part of iOS 26. As for the hardware, there are rumours about a smaller notch for Dynamic Island, but it is unknown whether it will appear in the iPhone 17 or in the next iPhone 18 model.
