Anker has officially suspended sales of its AnkerMake M5 and M5C 3D printers, effectively exiting the 3D printing market. The EufyMake brand, which Anker has spun off into a separate division, no longer offers these models or their components.

Here's What We Know

AnkerMake positioned itself as a 3D printer manufacturer for beginners and enthusiasts, promising high speed and an AI camera. The M5C was even considered an affordable alternative, but experienced technical issues, and the M5 had beta-level software and controversial features. The Reddit community has complained that repair parts are now unavailable, and they fear their printer has become useless hardware.

Key components such as heating (hotend) unit and plastic feeder (extruder). have disappeared from sale. This has caused frustration for owners who are now unable to repair their printers.

An attempt to present AnkerMake as EufyMake through rebranding has proved to be a departure rather than a transition: printers and parts are not available even through the new brand.

Who stays in the game

Instead of AnkerMake, users are increasingly looking towards more stable and friendly models - like the Bambu P1S/P1P and Elegoo Centauri Carbon.
