Closed beta testing of Battlefield 6, despite its exclusivity, attracted hundreds of thousands of players and now Electronic Arts has opened access to testing the shooter for everyone.

Here's What We Know

Until 10:00 (CEST) on 10 August, MS, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 users can enter Battlefield 6's multiplayer modes and try them out completely free of charge and without invitations.

So far three maps out of nine - Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak and Iberian Offensive - are available, and Empire State will be added only at the second beta, which will be held from 14 to 17 August.

Gamers can participate in battles in four game modes: Conquest, Breakthrough, Domination and King of the Hill.

All test participants will be rewarded for successfully completed tests:

• upon reaching level 10 - a player card "Breakthrough";
• upon reaching level 15 - "Rising Star" skin;
• upon reaching level 20 - "Night Terror" weapon talisman;
• playing as a Stormtrooper, make 50 kills in close combat - weapon set "Striking Distance";
• playing as a support, revive 100 teammates - "Power of Night" weapon sticker;
• playing as an engineer, restore 3000 units of equipment health - "Dark Time of Night" weapon sticker;
• playing as a scout, detect and mark 300 enemies - "Seeker" skin.
