Around fifty Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO smartphones and tablets will get HyperOS 3 based on Android 16

Xiaomi is gearing up to release Android 16-based HyperOS 3 firmware for three key brands of gadgets - Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO.

Here's What We Know

According to Digital Chat Station insider, Xiaomi will launch HyperOS 3 beta testing in August and it is expected to last for a few weeks, after which the stable version of the update will be released.

The Chinese manufacturer is yet to reveal the list of gadgets that will receive HyperOS 3, but based on Xiaomi's software update policy and some other factors, Gizmochina journalists have compiled a preliminary list of smartphones and tablets.

Owners of the following models can count on Android 16:

  • Xiaomi: Xiaomi 15, 14, 13, 12, 12S lines, Pad 6 and 7 tablets, MIX Flip and MIX Fold devices.
  • Redmi: Note 14, 13, 12, 15, 14C, 13C, A5, A4, A3 Pro, K80, K70, K60, K50, Turbo series, Pad SE and Pad Pro tablets.
  • POCO: models F7, F6, F5, X7, X6, M7, M6, C75, C65.

With the release of HyperOS 3 the work of these devices will become faster and smoother, they will receive an updated interface with improved animations and transitions. The system will add Advanced Protection mode for enhanced security, advanced notifications and Live Updates on the lock screen. Resource management and overall stability will also be improved.
