Bloomberg: Apple has no plans to update AirPods Max yet, but is preparing to release AirPods Pro 3
In the new issue of Power On's weekly news digest, authoritative insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has revealed not only Four cameras, Touch ID and no SIM: Mark Gurman shared new details of the foldable iPhone, but also about Apple's plans to update its own line of headphones.
Here's What We Know
Gurman is sure that Apple will not release a new model of the full-size AirPods Max headset in 2025. According to him, these headphones are in an unusual commercial position: they are too popular for the corporation to curtail their production, but not enough in demand for the manufacturer to be concerned about a new version. Therefore, their current model won't get a successor for at least another year.
As for TWS-headphones AirPods Pro, the new model will be released this autumn, and its main feature will be the ability to track the user's heart rate - so far Apple has implemented such technology only in Powerbeats Pro 2.
Recall, earlier other insiders claimed that Insider: Apple won't release the AirPods Pro 3 until 2026, and the AirPods Max headset won't be available until 2027.
