Panasonic unveiled a 77-inch OLED TV with Fire TV, Dolby Vision, and 4K image upscaling
Panasonic announced the 77Z8BA OLED TV — a new addition to the premium One Box Cinematic Experience line, which combines advanced imaging, sound, and smart TV technologies.
What's known
The TV features a 77″ Master OLED Pro Cinema Size panel with high brightness, contrast, and accurate color reproduction. The manufacturer used the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II, which enhances image resolution to 4K with AI remastering, improving streaming video clarity and reducing noise.
Dolby Vision IQ Precision Detail support ensures screen brightness adaptation with lighting sensors — the image remains sharp and deep, and the 360 Soundscape Pro audio system from Technics with Dolby Atmos support provides surround sound and a sense of presence.
Users are offered a built-in Fire TV platform with Alexa voice control, streaming service integration, and smart home features. Apple Home and AirPlay are also supported for control via Siri and streaming from Apple devices.
The new product from Panasonic will also interest gamers, as activating Game Mode Extreme increases the refresh rate to 144 Hz, and the support for Nvidia G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Dolby Vision Gaming will make gameplay smooth and comfortable.
When to expect
Pre-orders for the Panasonic 77Z8BA will open on October 27, and the full launch of the TV will take place in November 2025 at a price of $2500.
