Mouse: P.I. For Hire Unveils Noir Adventure with Corruption, Chaos, and Charismatic Detective Jack Pepper
Polish studio Fumi Games reminds that the release of Mouse: P.I. For Hire, a stylish and unconventional shooter set in early Disney cartoons, will take place next week.
The game has already attracted a lot of public attention and is vying for the title of one of the most creative releases of 2026, and the new trailer only confirms this.

The developers have presented an atmospheric release trailer for Mouse: P.I. For Hire, crafted in the style of noir detective stories. Viewers were shown locations of the thoroughly corrupt city of Mouseburg, where chaos and lawlessness reign, and the air is filled with thick cigarette smoke and the smell of cheap whiskey. Players can expect a dramatic storyline, dynamic shootouts, dark humor, and battles with creative bosses.
The video is accompanied by the musings of the main character, Jack Pepper, a private detective who opposes bandits and corrupt government officials. He will be voiced by Troy Baker, whose voice brings to life important characters in cult games, such as Joel from The Last of Us, Higgs from Death Stranding, and the protagonist in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
In addition to the unusual visual style and interesting levels, Mouse: P.I. For Hire will offer an extensive arsenal, with each weapon, like in classic American cartoons, exaggeratedly flexible and vividly reacting to each movement of the protagonist.
Gamers are leaving a huge number of positive comments under the trailer and note that the game looks significantly better than they expected.
The release of Mouse: P.I. For Hire will take place on April 16, 2026, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and both Nintendo Switch.
