Insider: 14-inch MacBook Pro to get same M1X chip as 16-inch model

Details continue to emerge online about the new MacBook Pro, which Mark Gurman: Apple will hold several presentations this fall, showing the new iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, MacBook Pro and iPad.

What this time

This time an insider under the nickname @Dylandkt revealed that the base 14-inch laptop model will get exactly the same M1X processor as the older 16-inch version. That is, the new items will not differ in performance. Apple will make such a thing for the first time, because until then all the models of notebooks from the company with small screens got weaker iron.
