Bloomberg: 45mm Apple Watch Series 7 will get a 1.9-inch display and new dials
Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman continues to reveal details about Apple's upcoming new products.
What this time
This time the insider shared new information about the Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatch. As said before, the device will get increased dimensions: 41 mm and 45 mm (versus 40 mm and 44 mm in Apple Watch Series 6). At the expense of this in the older model will increase the screen diagonal. Instead of 1.78 inches, the watch will have a 1.9-inch panel with a resolution of 396×484p. Naturally, the display will also increase in the junior model, but to what diagonal the insider did not say.
Fwiw I've heard from an Apple store employee that they're not getting anymore 40/44mm bands in and expect the new Apple watch to use different bands that won't be compatible with older watches https://t.co/BY9D8WQLFf

To use all the increased space, Apple is going to announce new dials along with the watch : Modular Max, Continuum and Atlas and World Timer.
As for the straps, it was previously reported that they will be compatible with the current generation Apple Watch, but insider Max Weinbach) heard that the Cupertinians may also release entirely new straps that can no longer be used with the old watch.
