French company Withings has announced its new ScanWatch Horizon hybrid smartwatch.

What's known

The model has a round shape, 43mm stainless steel case and a dive watch style design. You can't dive deep into it though. The device is rated at a maximum of 10 ATM.

Although it looks like an ordinary analog watch, it has a medical-grade electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor. In addition, ScanWatch Horizon can track blood oxygen levels (SpO2), steps, sleep, and 30 activities. The watch also displays notifications on a small POLED display. As for battery life, it should last for 30 days. In power saving mode, the watch will live another 20 days.

Price and when to expect

Withings ScanWatch Horizon is already available in France, Germany and the UK for 499 euros. The novelty is sold with a five-year warranty.
