No 200 MP - all Xiaomi 12 smartphones will get three 50 MP cameras

Information that the Xiaomi 12 smartphones will feature a 200MP camera last appeared more than a month ago, a few days after the premiere of the sensor Samsung ISOCELL HP1. But according to new reports, none of Xiaomi's next flagships will get a 200MP sensor.

Chinese insider Digital Chat Station on social network Weibo wrote that all Xiaomi 12 family smartphones will be equipped with a triple main camera of 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP. So far, no existing model can boast of such a set of modules. But there is a ZTE Axon 30 Ultra with three 64 MP cameras.

Network Informer also noted that the system of three 50 MP modules will be used in another flagship lineup, not counting the Xiaomi 12. He may be referring to Samsung's Galaxy S22 smartphones, which are expected next January.
