Samsung's flagships will soon get a stable One UI 4.0 on Android 12 - firmware testing is over

South Korea's Samsung has announced the completion of software testing One UI 4.0 powered by Android 12 for its flagship Galaxy S21 smartphones.

What's known

Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra received three beta versions of One UI 4.0 in the fall. The latest was released last week and removed ads from the interface.

Now January flagship owners are waiting for a stable software build along with the Android 12 operating system. In mid-October, it was reported that the release of the final version is delayed until December. Perhaps smartphones will still get the update a little earlier.

Recall that Samsung recently released the first beta version of One UI 4.0 for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 summer bendable models. The 2020 flagships Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 are next in line. In total, the company plans to release One UI 4.0 with Android 12 for 17 top 2019-2021 models., not including bendable smartphones.
