Google's foldable smartphone will get the same camera as the Pixel 5

Clever people from 9to5Google "dug around" in the code of the latest version of Google Camera application and found there some details about the foldable smartphone Pixel.

What is known

According to the leak, the device will get a dual main camera. The main sensor will have a resolution of 12.2 MP. We are talking about the sensor Sony IMX363. It is also installed in the Pixel 5. That is, the novelty will shoot worse than the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Recall, they use the more recent Samsung GN1 50 MP sensor. As for the second sensor, it will be the wide-angle Sony IMX386. 

In addition to the dual main camera, the Google Pixel foldable smartphone is also credited with two 8 MP Sony IMX355 front-facing cameras. The first should be mounted on the external display and the second on the internal one. 

Recall, according to the latest leaks, Google's foldable device will hit the market with the name Pixel Fold. The novelty will get a form factor like Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Huawei Mate 2, top-end hardware, as well as a screen with teh technology Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). The smartphone Google may release its first foldable Pixel Fold along with Android 12L.
