Xiaomi withdraws from sale three popular Redmi smartphones at once

On November 4, we wrote that Xiaomi plans to withdraw from sale smartphone Redmi Note 9 5G. Liu Weibing, CEO of Xiaomi, said that the company will stop selling three models at once.

All three smartphones that are part of the Redmi Note 9 family for the Chinese market will be taken off sale. In addition to the Redmi Note 9 5G, the ninth generation includes the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, the world's cheapest model with a 108MP camera, and the Redmi Note 9 4G.

Three generations of smartphones are popular at the 11.11 sale in China. Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 were among the top ten best-selling models.

However, the Chinese company doesn't want the 2019 smartphones to impose competition on the new products. Therefore, the manufacturer will stop selling Redmi Note 9 4G / 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G after the 11.11 sale.

Recall that the models were announced in late November 2019 and went on sale immediately. Thirteen days after the release of smartphones on the market Xiaomi announced that sales have exceeded 1 million devices.
