Pixel 6 has a new problem: the smartphone sometimes calls contacts in the address book by itself
Remember recently we wrote that smartphones Google has old problems - Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners complain about screen? So now users of devices have paid attention to another strange bug.
What's known
One Pixel 6 owner told a Reddit forum that he recently woke up in the morning to his phone beeping. When he picked up the device, he saw that the smartphone was trying to call a contact from his address book. The second time it happened a few days later.
What's interesting is that this is not an isolated problem. In the comments to the post we found at least 10 other users who had faced the same situation. For some of them, the phone even rang in the middle of the night.

What exactly is going on with the smartphone is unclear. We can only suppose that this is because of the virtual assistant, which incorrectly recognizes extraneous sounds and phrases.
Google has not yet commented on the situation.
