Google has old problems - Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners complain about screen

While one group of people are raving about the camera capabilities in Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, another category of users are complaining about screen issues with the new products.

What is known

Pixel 6 owners note the appearance of a green tint. The fourth and fifth generation smartphones, Pixel 4 XL and Pixel 5a suffered from this problem in due course.

Pixel 6 Pro users also have a problem with the screen. They complain of an incomprehensible flickering, as if the display is damaged. Sometimes it appears when you press the power key. This is probably due to the static charge that occurs when the button is pressed.

We kind of concluded that it is not displaying damage, as poking it doesn't make it bleed or warp. Also debug drawing over it didn't work. This display was hole punched twice. #Pixel6Pro pic.twitter.com/pRLcxfXTaO

The most interesting problem is the extra software "hole" near the front camera cutout. Something similar was still in the Pixel 3 XL, which had a virtual cutout appearing on the right side, as shown in the photo below.
