Source: Samsung will not use Exynos chip in Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones
Samsung has been releasing flagship S-series smartphones with Exynos and Qualcomm processors for many years. Now there is information online that the company will abandon the branded SoC in the new lineup.
What is known
This was reported by LetsGoDigital, citing a former Samsung employee. The source assures that the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will not get the Exynos 2200 chip. The smartphones will only ship with the Snapdragon 898 SoC in all regions, including Europe and Asia.

How reliable this information is is hard to say, but popular Ice Universe insiders, Max Weinbach and Jon Prosser, for example, do not believe it. They believe Samsung will expand the geography of its Snapdragon 898 chip models in 2022, but there will still be regions where the devices will be sold with the branded SoC on board.

Recall Samsung is furious over a leak about the Galaxy S22. Meanwhile, an insider reveals the presentation date of the future flagships, the Galaxy S22 line of smartphones will be unveiled on February 8. Pre-orders for the new devices should start the same day, with sales scheduled for February 18.
