Insider tells when OPPO's first foldable smartphone will hit the market
Information about OPPO's first foldable smartphone has already appeared on the network more than once. Now a Chinese insider from the social network Weibo has shared new details about the device.

According to the informant, the device goes under the codename Peacock (peacock). If everything goes according to plan, the novelty will be released next month.
Recall, the first foldable smartphone OPPO should receive a form factor of a book. That is, it will compete with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Huawei Mate X2 and Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold. The novelty is attributed OLED panel with a diagonal of 8 inches. The display will receive a resolution of 2K, as well as support for refresh rate 120 Hz. Also the device should be equipped with Snapdragon 888 chip, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, main camera with 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor, front-facing 32 MP camera and 4500 mAh battery with 65 Watt fast charging support.
By the way, according to informant, OPPO is also currently working on a smartphone Butterfly with Snapdragon 898 chip on board. The smartphone is expected to be shown in early 2022. Most likely, it is one of the devices in OPPO Find X4 flagship lineup.
