Xiaomi to unveil 14 smartphones powered by new Qualcomm and MediaTek processors
Xiaomi will soon release more than a dozen smartphones based on Qualcomm and MediaTek single-chip systems. Some of the chips have not even been announced yet.
What is known
The list has been published on Xiaomiui Twitter account. It includes 14 models powered by Snapdragon 898, Snapdragon 778, Snapdragon 870+, Snapdragon 480+ and Dimensity 2000 processors. Qualcomm's flagship single-chip system will equip the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro.
Snapdragon 870+ single-chip system we will see in two models of the Redmi K50 series and in one of the modifications of Xiaomi 12. The Snapdragon 778 chip will be used in the Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom, while the recently announced Snapdragon 480+ SoC will appear in the Redmi Note 11 for the Japanese market. One of the global versions of the Redmi Note 11 will feature a MediaTek chip, but the name was not specified.
The flagship Dimensity 2000 processor will be used in the Redmi K50 family smartphone. In addition, two more models will feature unnamed Qualcomm SoCs, while one device will get a MediaTek single-chip system.

Most of these phones will arrive in 2022. The flagship Xiaomi 12 should be the first to debut on the market. It will compete with Motorola Edge X for the title of the first smartphone powered by Snapdragon 898 processor.
