Motorola announces Moto G200: flagship with 6.8-inch 144Hz screen, Snapdragon 888+ chip and 5000mAh battery for 450 euros
Motorola has unexpectedly announced five new Moto G smartphones, including the flagship Moto G200.
What is known
The Moto G200 is the successor to the Moto G100 smartphone that came out in March. The smartphone has received an updated look and a large 6.8-inch LCD-screen with FHD + resolution. The panel supports 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and DCI-P3 color space.
The main feature of the smartphone is the current flagship processor Snapdragon 888+. The chip is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 128/256 GB UFS 3.1 drive. In addition, the Moto G200 also boasts a 5000 mAh power-hungry battery with 33-watt charging, IP52 protection and a triple main camera with a 108 MP main sensor. He can shoot video up to 8K resolution. It is complemented by a 13MP wide-angle lens that can be used as a macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is new at 16 MP.
The device comes with Android 11. It supports Ready For mode, which allows you to connect your smartphone to a monitor using a dedicated docking station or via a USB-C to HDMI cable. The novelty weighs 202 grams and has a plastic case.
Price and when to wait
The Moto G200 will go on sale in Europe in December. For a smartphone, they will ask for 450 euros.
