Twitch has rolled out SharePlay support on iPhone and iPad
Live streaming service Twitch has released another feature designed to bring viewers closer to each other. Twitch now supports SharePlay capabilities on iPhone and iPad, so up to 32 people can watch the same stream while on a FaceTime group call. Each call participant will be required to log into the Twitch app and will be considered an individual viewer.
How to start a broadcast
When you first open a stream during a Group FaceTime call, Twitch will ask if you want to play it for yourself or for everyone, and will remember your choice. If you choose to share it with everyone, the SharePlay feature syncs the stream across all devices so that all viewers are watching the same moment at the same time. Play and pause controls also sync across devices.
Want to watch Twitch with all your friends? Now you can on iPhone and iPad devices through SharePlay!

How the SharePlay + Twitch bundle works
Anyone in the conversation can transfer everyone to another Twitch channel. Everyone will be able to interact with the streamer's chat, follow it or subscribe to it. You can stream in portrait or landscape mode, but (at least for now) you can't continue your SharePlay session in the Twitch app for Apple TV.
How to end the broadcast
Your SharePlay session ends when the stream closes, you log out of a FaceTime conversation, or end SharePlay. If you close a stream, you will be asked if you want to end it for yourself or for everyone. If you choose the latter option, the stream will not be closed on all other devices, but playback will no longer be synchronized.
