OnePlus developers, after two months of testing Android 12 on the flagships OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, have released a stable version of the firmware for them.

What's new

The main change in the system was the new proprietary shell OxygenOS 12. It received an updated user interface with new animations and new shortcuts for proprietary applications. In addition, a new feed was added to the system. Shelf. It has become more customizable. Users can now add widgets of different sizes there, as well as group them and set the wallpaper. A health card has also appeared in the feed, which displays steps, heart rate and other indicators from the OnePlus Watch and a widget for managing headphones.

Of the useful things in OxygenOS 12, it is also worth noting the Work Life Balance 2.0 mode, with which you can group notifications and change their priority, a customizable dark theme with three shades of black, new branded applications, the updated Canvas AOD 2.0 function, and much more. 

When to expect

The update has already begun to be distributed in waves to smartphones around the world. If you don't have OTA yet, you can download the firmware in the Oxygen Updater application and install it manually.
