With iOS 15.2 released, Apple will protect iPhone owners from unscrupulous repairers

What does it mean?
In the future iOS 15.2, we found an interesting feature - "History of spare parts and service" in the smartphone settings. With this option, users will be able to view service history and authenticate components used for repairs.
So, after the repair, in this section you will see a list of the repaired parts, as well as information about whether they are genuine. If this is not the case, the component will be marked as "Unknown". In addition, owners will be informed if the installation of a part is incomplete, the part has been replaced with a non-original component, the part has already been used or was installed on another iPhone, or if the part does not work as expected. In previous versions of iOS, customers could only see if the replacement part was identified as unknown.
Most importantly, messages in the Service History section will not affect your ability to use your iPhone, its battery, display, or camera.
The information displayed will be different for different models:
