The Ice universe insider wrote about this. He recommended that users mentally prepare themselves for the fact that the flagships of 2022 based on the Android operating system will be very hot.

Moto edge x30 became the first smartphone on Snapdragon 8 Gen1. It goes on sale on December 15th, but all devices dismantled on pre-orders. The exact number has not been specified, but we are talking about tens of thousands of phones.

According to an insider, the Moto Edge X30 gets very hot during benchmarks. As such, it can be argued that Motorola failed to cope with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1's hot blast cooling. Time will tell whether other manufacturers will be able to solve this problem. But it's worth noting that earlier this year, OnePlus had to disable the Cortex-X1 core in the Snapdragon 888 for simple tasks to avoid throttling and maintain normal battery life.
