Samsung Galaxy S22 showed up in a "live" photo: a copy of Galaxy S21 with a glossy back panel

Insider Ice Universe posted a photo of the yet unannounced Galaxy S22 smartphone on the Weibo social network.

What was shown

The snapshot confirms previous rumors and leaks. The device will really get the same appearance as the current generation. Galaxy S21 (review). The smartphone will be equipped with a cutout that will go to the side of the device. Three camera sensors will be installed on it. The only difference between the new items is the glossy black color of the back panel. In all color variants of the Galaxy S21, it has a matte finish. 

Recall that the Galaxy S22 should become a compact flagship. The device is credited with a 6.06-inch flat AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Also, the novelty will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chip (depending on the region), a camera with 50 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP modules, a 3700 mAh battery and a price tag from USD 849.

When to expect

The presentation of the Galaxy S22 and other smartphones of the line will take place in late January or early February.
