Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra will cost more than expected

A few weeks ago we wrote that the flagship smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S22 family will be at the level of their predecessors. According to new information, the prices of the new generation models will be slightly higher than expected.

What is known

Earlier, there were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S22 will cost from $ 799, and the Plus version will cost at least $ 999. Now it is reported that each model will be $ 50 more expensive, i.e. smartphones will be available for $ 849 and $ 1,049, respectively. For the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, you will have to pay at least $ 1,299, although the cost of $ 1,199 was previously mentioned.

Note that in the new generation Samsung will equip all smartphones with 256 GB of internal memory in the basic modification. Comparing prices to the 256GB Galaxy S21 models, it should be noted that only the Ultra version will rise in price. The price will rise by $ 50.

Recall that the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S22 family in the world is expected on February 8, 2022. All smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen1 or Exynos 2200 chipset depending on the region of sale.
