Xiaomi MIX FOLD 2 will have 8.1 ”screen Samsung AMOLED UTG

Xiaomi will introduce its second flagship smartphone next year, equipped with a foldable display. It will be called Xiaomi MIX FOLD 2 and will be the successor to the original model announced in March 2021.

What is known

The upcoming novelty has already appeared in the IMEI database with the number 22061218C, i.e. certification is slated for early summer, with sales likely to begin in July. According to new data, Xiaomi MIX FOLD 2 will be equipped with a screen with an increased image refresh rate produced by Samsung Display.

The AMOLED panel with ultra-thin glass will have a diagonal of 8.1 ”. These screens are manufactured using a new manufacturing process that improves the flexibility and durability of the matrix. Also, Xiaomi will use a polyimide film, as in the first generation Mi MIX FOLD.
