Elon Musk founded AI company xAI to "understand reality"

The head of Tesla, Twitter and SpaceX, Elon Musk, has founded a new artificial intelligence company, xAI.

According to the website description, the mission of the new venture is to "understand reality". The businessman incorporated x.AI Corp back earlier this year.

In April, Musk also stated that he wanted to create a venture for "maximum truth-seeking AI that tries to understand reality" that would "does more good than harm."

So far, not much is known about the new venture. Musk promised to reveal more details on 14 July during a Twitter Spaces broadcast.
