Tecno Camon 20 Premier - Dimensity 8050, 120Hz display and the world's first 108MP ultra-wide-angle camera

Tecno has unveiled the world's first smartphone equipped with a 108 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The new product is called Tecno Camon 20 Premier.

Finding a smartphone with a 108MP camera is not difficult right now. At the moment, there are around 100 such devices available. However, until today, there hasn't been a single model where the 108MP sensor is complemented by ultra-wide-angle optics.

The Tecno Camon 20 Premier is the first smartphone of its kind. The 108MP sensor is mounted in an ultra-wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and an equivalent focal length of 13mm. This module is also used for macro photography.

The main camera also has a 50MP (RGBW, f/1.8, 23mm) main image sensor with optical stabilisation and a 2MP sensor for background blur. The selfie camera has a resolution of 32 MP (f/2.4).

At the heart of the Tecno Camon 20 Premier there is a Dimensity 8050 mobile processor. The chip is complemented by 8GB of RAM. The storage capacity is 256GB. Other modifications are not provided by the manufacturer.

In addition, the novelty has received a Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.67" with 120 Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The battery capacity was 5,000mAh and the fast charging power was 45W.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Unfortunately, the price of the Tecno Camon 20 Premier has not been specified yet. There's no information about the launch date either. The smartphone will appear on the market in blue and black colours of the body.
