Xiaomi announces Mi TV EA 55 4K TV with MIUI for TV 3.0 for $200

Xiaomi has unveiled a new version of the 55-inch Mi TV EA series. The model is already available on sale, but so far only in China.

Here's What We Know

The new Xiaomi Mi TV EA55 has the model number L55MA-EA. The TV is equipped with a 4K UHD display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The screen covers 97.1% of the front side and supports 1.07 billion colours.

The TV is equipped with 20W stereo speakers (two 10W each) with DTS-HD. The hardware platform is built around a 4-core chip with 1.5GB of RAM. There is 8GB of storage available for installing apps.

The Xiaomi Mi TV EA55 (L55MA-EA) gets two USB-A connectors, two HDMI, AV, RJ-45 and S/PDIF. Apart from the RJ-45, a Wi-Fi 5 wireless adapter can also be used to connect to the internet.

The new product runs on the proprietary MIUI for TV 3.0 software. The Xiaomi Mi TV EA55 (L55MA-EA) is priced at $200.
