Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook Plus (16", 7) - Intel Core i5 chips, WQXGA display and 12 hours of battery life from €599

Lenovo has unveiled a Chromebook for gaming. The model has been given the long name Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook Plus (16", 7).

Here's What We Know

The Chromebook is equipped with a WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) display based on an IPS matrix. The panel has a 9ms response time and 100 per cent colour space coverage. Above the screen is a camera with 1080p support.

Depending on the modification Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook Plus (16", 7) is equipped with an Intel Core i5-1235U or Core i5-1215U processor with Iris Xe or Intel UHD graphics, respectively. RAM is 8GB and storage capacity is up to 512GB.

The company claims that on a full charge, the Chromebook can run for 12 hours. The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook Plus (16", 7) also gets four 2W stereo speakers, a microSD slot, two USB-C, two USB-A, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5 and one 3.5mm jack.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook Plus (16", 7) won't be sold in the US, but it's already available in Europe. The price starts at the €599 mark.
