"Ukroboronprom, Ukraine's largest defence holding company, has opened its first foreign representative office to coordinate international projects in the United States.
This was announced by US President Joe Biden at the opening of the NATO summit in Washington on 9 July. One battery of SAMs will be delivered by the United States. The second one will be sent by the Netherlands together with other partners. That is, in the near future Ukraine will have 7 Patriot batteries in service. Unfortunately, there is no information yet on when deliveries of the promised systems will start.
The information was shared by Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa SA. We are talking about a contract worth 2.6 billion zlotys or about $659 million. For this amount the Polish Army will receive 58 vehicles with the new ZSSW-30 combat module. It has a 30 mm Mk.44S automatic cannon, which can use programmable ammunition. Deliveries of the vehicles are scheduled for 2026-2027.
